Silk carré 80 / Ana Karkar print

The prints on this scarf were created in collaboration with painter Ana Karkar, inspired by the traditional oya scarf motifs. Oya scarves are known to carry on the thoughts of their maker, and this idea was interpreted through Ana’s illustrations, presenting a contemporary landscape. The oil-pastel composition was first illustrated on a large-scale paper in her atelier and printed to smooth silk twill in Italy in limited quantities.
