Silk carré 80 with oya embroidery / Ana Karkar print

The scarf selection of the studio celebrates the traditional oya embroidery scarves from Türkiye and the silk and square-shaped scarves from France, taking their name carré. The signature flower motif oya embroidery was created in collaboration with Kumru Mısırlıoğlu. The prints were created in collaboration with painter Ana Karkar, inspired by the traditional oya scarf motifs. Oya scarves are known to carry on the thoughts of their maker, and this idea was interpreted through Ana’s illustrations, presenting a contemporary landscape.
