Hair clip with oya glass beaded embroidery

Hand-made from a silk shantung and embroidered with glass beads. The glass beading mullberry motifs were developed for edition iv with our long-time collaborator Kumru Mısırlıoğlu. Oya embroideries have been made by women in Türkiye for years. By creating and wearing these precious embroideries on their scarves, they'd express emotions and thoughts through motifs and colors.
